Your new companyA well-established and highly reputable fit-out subcontractor based in Glasgow is seeking an experienced Estimator to join their growing team. With an excellent standing in the Scottish construction market, the business has built a strong portfolio of repeat clients and a reputation for quality delivery. Your new roleReporting directly to Senior Management, you will play a key role in supporting the continued growth of the business. This is a highly visible position where your input will directly influence project success and strategic direction.
Key responsibilities will include:
*Preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates for fit-out projects
*Reviewing drawings, specifications, and tender documentation
*Managing the full tender process from enquiry through to submission
*Liaising with clients, suppliers, and internal teams
*Identifying value engineering opportunities and cost-saving solutions
*Supporting the senior leadership team in securing new business
What you’ll need to succeed
*Proven estimating experience within the fit-out sector
*Strong knowledge of the Scottish construction market
*Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
*Excellent commercial awareness and attention to detail
*Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
