Job Description:
Full job descriptionAn established independent accountancy practice in Barnsley is looking to recruit a Semi Senior Accountant or Senior Accountant to join its growing team.
Working with a varied portfolio of owner managed businesses, you will be responsible for preparing accounts, supporting clients with their accounting requirements and building long term client relationships.
The role will include:*Preparation of statutory accounts for limited companies
*Accounts preparation for sole traders and partnerships
*Assisting clients with Making Tax Digital requirements
*Liaising directly with clients and responding to day to day queries
*Working closely with senior staff and partners on client assignments
The successful candidate will ideally have:*Previous experience within an accountancy practice
*Experience preparing accounts for limited company clients
*Good communication and client relationship skills
*AAT qualified, ACCA studying or qualified by experience
*The ability to manage workloads and meet deadlines
The firm offers:*Salary from c.£27,000 to £35,000 depending on experience
*ACCA study support through an accredited training practice
*28 days annual leave plus a weeks Christmas shutdown
