1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant - Newmarket - Start Date September
Prospero Teaching are seeking a committed 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant to support a pupil in a welcoming primary school in Newmarket, starting September. This is an excellent ongoing opportunity for someone passionate about supporting children with additional needs and helping them thrive in a nurturing learning environment.
The school is looking for a patient, proactive practitioner with strong communication skills and a genuine desire to make a positive impact.
CONTRACT DETAILS*Location - Newmarket
*Position - 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant
*Type of work - 1:1 support
*Start date - September
*Duration - Ongoing / Long-term
*Full time/part-time - Full time
*Minimum rate of pay - £95-£110 per day
*Hours - 8:50 am - 3:15 pm
EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS*Experience supporting children with SEN (school-based or transferable experience)
*Understanding of safeguarding and child protection
*Up-to-date Safeguarding training (desirable)
TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:*Hold Right to Work in the UK
*Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS on the Update Service or be willing to apply for one
*Provide two professional child-related references
