Accounts AssistantLeeds | £30,000 - £35,000 | Study Support Available
Robert Half Accountancy and Finance is partnering with a fast-growing, forward-thinking manufacturing business based in Leeds to recruit a motivated and ambitious Accounts Assistant. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone early in their finance career who is looking to develop, take ownership, and progress quickly within a supportive environment.
The Role:You’ll play a key role in the day-to-day finance function, gaining exposure across all areas while working closely with a knowledgeable finance team.
Key responsibilities include:
*Processing purchase and sales invoices
*Supporting with bank reconciliations and cash posting
*Assisting with month-end close and management accounts
*Managing supplier queries and reconciliations
*Supporting credit control and collections
*Getting involved in process improvements and ad hoc projects
About You:*Ambitious, driven, and keen to build a career in finance
*Previous Accounts Assistant experience in a similar role
*Ideally studying (AAT / ACCA / CIMA) or planning to start
*Strong attention to detail with good organisational skills
*Confident communicator with a proactive approach
