A welcoming secondary school in Haringey is seeking a reliable Caretaker to join their site team. You will be responsible for the day-to-day maintenance, security and presentation of the school site, ensuring a safe environment for students, staff and visitors.
Key Responsibilities
*Opening and locking the school site
*Carrying out basic repairs and maintenance
*Monitoring health and safety compliance
*Setting up rooms for school events and examinations
*Liaising with contractors and external visitors
The Ideal Candidate
*Previous caretaker, facilities or site assistant experience
*Good practical maintenance skills
*Knowledge of health and safety procedures
*Ability to work independently and prioritise workload
*Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one
