Location: Gravesend, Kent
Start Date: September 2026 or ASAP
Academics are working in partnership with a specialist SEND school in Gravesend, who are seeking a dedicated and passionate SEN Teacher to join their team on a long-term basis from September, with the potential for the role to become permanent. For the right candidate, an earlier start may also be available.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a supportive and well-established SEN setting, where a child-centred approach and strong teamwork are at the heart of everything they do. Experience supporting or leading within a SEND team would be highly desirable.
The Role:
*Full-time SEN Teacher position
*Working with pupils with a range of needs including ASD, communication difficulties, and complex needs
*Teaching small class sizes with strong TA support
*Planning and delivering engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to EHCPs
*Working closely with SENCOs, therapists, and support staff
Requirements:
*Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential
*Previous SEN experience is desirable
*Minimum of 1 year UK teaching experience
*Strong teamwork and communication skills
*Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
