Its Intellectual Property team is recognised for handling complex, high-value disputes while maintaining a collaborative and supportive culture that encourages professional growth and early responsibility.
Due to continued growth, the firm is seeking an IP Litigation Associate to join its expanding disputes practice. This opportunity is ideal for a Solicitor with a strong background in patent litigation who is looking for broader exposure across the full spectrum of contentious IP work. Alongside high-profile patent disputes, you will gain experience in trade marks, copyright, trade secrets and wider strategic IP matters, working directly with an impressive international client base from day one.
Key Responsibilities
*Advising on complex patent disputes and wider strategic IP matters
*Supporting litigation across a broad range of intellectual property rights
*Drafting pleadings, witness statements, correspondence and instructions to Counsel
*Working closely with clients to provide clear, commercially focused advice
*Coordinating with experts, Counsel and overseas advisers on multi-jurisdictional matters
*Assisting clients with the wider commercial and strategic issues surrounding their IP portfolios
*Collaborating with colleagues across technology, commercial and wider disputes teams
*Contributing to business development initiatives, client pitches and thought leadership projects
*Supporting the continued growth and development of the firm’s patent litigation offering
Requirements
*Qualified Solicitor or Barrister in England & Wales (or equivalent jurisdiction)
*Approximately 3–4 years’ PQE, although candidates outside this range with strong experience will be considered
*Solid background in patent disputes and litigation
*Experience handling sophisticated, high-value or strategically important matters
*Excellent drafting, analytical and case management skills
*Strong understanding of litigation practice and procedure before the English Courts
*Confidence managing client relationships and explaining complex issues in a commercial manner
*A collaborative approach and a genuine interest in working across a broad range of IP disputes
