The Role
An established law firm is looking to appoint a Private Client Solicitor or Legal Executive to join its growing team.
You will manage your own caseload covering:
*Wills and estate planning
*Probate and intestacy matters
*Estate administration
*Applications for Grants of Representation
*Inheritance Tax returns
*Lasting Powers of Attorney (Property & Financial Affairs and Health & Welfare)
*Court of Protection and Deputyship matters
This is a client-facing role, requiring someone who can provide sensitive, practical advice while delivering an exceptional level of service.
You will also liaise regularly with financial institutions, HMRC, beneficiaries and other professional advisers throughout the lifecycle of matters.
About You
You will ideally have:
*Experience handling a broad private client caseload independently
*Strong knowledge of probate, estate administration, wills and LPAs
*Experience dealing with inheritance tax matters
*Excellent client care and communication skills
*A compassionate and professional approach when dealing with vulnerable clients and families
*Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
*The ability to manage competing priorities effectively
Experience with Court of Protection work would be advantageous but is not essential.
