Tradewind Recruitment is working with a friendly and inclusive school in the NG13 area seeking a Full-Time Vocational Teacher to join their team ASAP on a long-term basis. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a supportive environment, delivering engaging vocational learning programmes that inspire and motivate pupils to achieve their full potential.
This position is ideal for a passionate and adaptable teacher with experience delivering practical, skills-based learning to students who may require additional support to engage with education.
Vocational Teacher - Responsibilities*Plan and deliver engaging vocational lessons tailored to pupils’ individual needs and abilities
*Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes participation and achievement
*Support pupils in developing practical skills, confidence, and employability skills
*Differentiate learning to meet a range of educational and behavioural needs
*Monitor, assess, and record pupil progress
*Work closely with teaching assistants, pastoral teams, and senior leaders to support pupil outcomes
*Promote positive behaviour and maintain high expectations within the classroom
*Contribute to the wider school community and support enrichment activities where appropriate
Vocational Teacher - Requirements*Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), QTLS, or relevant vocational teaching qualification
*Experience delivering vocational subjects or practical learning programmes
*Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
*Ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
*Passion for supporting young people to achieve their potential
*Excellent communication and organisational skills
*Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
