We are currently working in partnership with a highly regarded specialist secondary school in the Hassocks area, supporting students with autism. This welcoming and well-resourced setting provides a calm, structured environment where both students and staff are supported to thrive.
The school benefits from small class sizes and an excellent staff-to-student ratio, allowing you to work closely with learners on both a 1:1 basis and in small groups. You’ll be part of a collaborative team, working alongside experienced teachers and on-site therapy professionals to provide tailored support that makes a real impact.
This setting has a strong focus on developing students’ independence, confidence, and life skills, making it an incredibly rewarding place to work for anyone passionate about SEN education.
The Role:
*Supporting secondary-aged students with autism
*Working 1:1 and in small groups
*Assisting with both academic and life skills development
*Collaborating with teaching staff and therapy teams
*Creating a positive and structured learning environment
