Hue Recruitment is currently recruiting a hardworking and reliable Yard Operative to support a busy builders’ merchant in Hemel Hempstead.
This is a hands-on role that would suit candidates who enjoy physical work, working outdoors, and being part of a busy team environment.
Key Duties:
*Stacking bricks and building materials
*Re-wrapping pallets and stock
*General yard maintenance and housekeeping
*Assisting with loading and unloading deliveries
*Moving and organising materials around the yard
*Supporting the yard team with day-to-day operational duties
*Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working environment
What We’re Looking For:
*A strong work ethic and positive attitude
*Good level of physical fitness
*Reliable and punctual
*Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
*Previous yard, warehouse, labouring or builders’ merchant experience is advantageous but not essential
What’s on Offer?
*Monday to Friday working hours
*07:30am – 4:30pm
*No weekend work
*Pay Rate: £13.00 – £13.50 per hour (depending on experience)
*Immediate start available
*Friendly and supportive team environment
*Opportunity to gain experience within a busy builders’ merchant operation
