A welcoming primary school in Gloucester is seeking a caring and committed Individual Support Assistant to provide 1:1 support to a pupil with additional needs. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to a child’s development in a nurturing and inclusive learning environment.
About the Role:
*Provide tailored 1:1 support to help a child thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.
*Assist with communication strategies, including BSL, Makaton, or other AAC methods (Not essential)
*Implement individual learning strategies in line with the child’s Education, Health, and Care Plan (EHCP).
*Work closely with teachers, the SENCO, and external professionals to adapt learning activities.
*Encourage independence while offering reassurance and guidance.
*Track progress and share key insights with the wider school team and parents.
*Ensure a safe, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment, following safeguarding policies.

*£89- £105 per day (Depending on Experience)
