Full time hours on a temporary basis
* Key Responsibilities
*Deliver licensing functions in accordance with relevant legislation, policies and procedures.
*Act as the lead officer within the Licensing Team, providing advice, guidance and support to colleagues.
*Attend and contribute to internal Licensing Team meetings.
*Keep up to date with licensing legislation and policy developments.
*Draft and review licensing policies for renewal and present reports to the Licensing Committee.
*Respond to routine enquiries and complaints relating to the licensing service.
*Process applications across the full range of licensing functions.
*Carry out inspections of licensed premises and investigate cases of non-compliance.
*Take enforcement action where necessary and appropriate.
*Prepare detailed reports and present cases at Licensing Sub-Committee hearings.
