Full job descriptionWe are seeking a commercially focused Senior Finance Business Partner / FPA Manager to support senior leadership teams in driving business performance, strategic decision-making, and operational excellence. This role combines financial planning and analysis, commercial insight, performance reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives to support growth and profitability across the organisation.
*Senior Finance Business Partner / FP&A ManagerThe RoleWe are seeking a commercially minded finance professional to partner with senior business leaders and support strategic decision-making across the organisation. This role combines financial planning and analysis, business partnering, performance reporting, and commercial insight to help drive growth, profitability, and operational excellence.
The successful candidate will work closely with executive stakeholders, providing financial guidance, robust analysis, and actionable recommendations to support both day-to-day operations and long-term strategic objectives.
Key Responsibilities*Partner with senior leadership teams to provide financial insight and support strategic and operational decision-making.
*Prepare and support annual budgets, forecasts, and long-range financial plans.
*Develop and maintain revenue and profitability models to support business planning and performance management.
*Produce scenario analysis, business cases, and strategic recommendations to support key investment and operational decisions.
*Lead the preparation of monthly executive and board-level reporting, delivering clear commentary on business performance.
*Manage regular revenue and performance reporting, identifying opportunities to improve growth, efficiency, and margin.
*Support commercial planning activities through modelling, pipeline analysis, and return-on-investment assessment.
*Improve reporting accuracy, visibility, and timeliness through process standardisation, automation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
*Design, implement, and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) that support business performance and profitability objectives.
*Support the implementation and enhancement of reporting and business intelligence solutions.
*Deliver ad hoc financial and commercial analysis to support strategic priorities across the organisation.
Candidate ProfileEssential Experience & Qualifications*Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
*Proven experience within Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), commercial finance, finance business partnering, or a related analytical finance role.
*Strong financial modelling, forecasting, and analytical capabilities.
*Advanced Excel skills with experience managing and analysing large, complex datasets.
*Experience using data visualisation and reporting tools such as Power BI, Tableau, SQL, or similar platforms.
*Demonstrated ability to translate complex financial information into clear and actionable insights for non-financial stakeholders.
Personal Attributes*Highly organised, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
*Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
