Start Date: ASAP (Temporary until July, Permanent from September)
Salary: MPS/UPS (dependent on experience)
Contract: Temporary (ASAP - July) with view to Permanent from September
About the Role
We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Design & Technology Teacher to join a supportive secondary school team immediately. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate educator to make an immediate impact, with the position transitioning into a permanent role from September.You will be responsible for delivering high-quality D&T lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, inspiring students and fostering a creative learning environment.
Key Responsibilities
*Deliver engaging and effective Design & Technology lessons
*Plan, prepare and assess student work in line with the national curriculum
*Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere
*Support student progress and attainment
*Contribute to the wider school community
Requirements
*Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - essential
*Proven experience teaching in a UK secondary school setting
*Strong subject knowledge in Design & Technology
*Excellent classroom management skills
*Passion for education and student development
