Full job descriptionWe are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to join our specialist SEN school in Bristol. This rewarding role involves supporting pupils with a range of special educational needs, helping them to access learning, develop confidence and achieve their individual goals within a safe and nurturing environment.
Working closely with teachers and wider support staff, you will provide both classroom-based assistance and, where required, targeted 1:1 support for pupils who need additional guidance with their learning, communication, behaviour or personal development. You will play an important role in creating positive learning experiences, encouraging independence and promoting the wellbeing of every pupil.
The ideal candidate will be patient, adaptable and passionate about supporting children and young people with additional needs. Previous experience within an SEN, education, care or support setting is desirable, although a positive attitude and willingness to learn are equally important.
