Key Responsibilities:
*Preparing detailed suitability reports and financial planning recommendations
*Conducting research and analysis across pensions, investments, protection, and retirement planning
*Supporting Financial Advisers with client reviews and advice preparation
*Analysing client information and preparing cashflow and financial planning documents
*Liaising with providers and third parties to obtain relevant information
*Ensuring all advice documentation meets compliance and regulatory standards
*Maintaining accurate client records and updating internal systems
*Supporting the smooth progression of client cases from initial advice through to completion
*Keeping up to date with industry changes, regulations, and financial products
*Building strong working relationships with advisers and internal teams
Experience and Skills Requirements
*Previous experience within a Paraplanner role or similar financial planning support position
*Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning (DipPFS) or equivalent qualification required
*Strong technical knowledge across investments, pensions, protection, and retirement planning
*Excellent report writing and analytical skills
*Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately under pressure
*Professional communication skills with a client-focused approach
*Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
*Competent IT skills, including Microsoft Office and financial planning software
*Proactive, positive, and committed approach to personal development
