Location: Reading Arborfield
Pay Rate: £13.75 per hour
Contract: Temporary (1–2 weeks)
Start Date: Immediate / ASAP
Overview
We are currently seeking an experienced Forklift Driver (Counterbalance) for a short-term assignment based in Reading. This is a great opportunity for a reliable and safety-conscious individual to join a fast-paced warehouse environment for a 1–2 week period.
Shift Patterns Available
Candidates can choose from one of the following shifts:
*Shift Option 1:
Monday – Thursday: 7:00am – 3:30pm
Friday: 7:00am – 2:30pm
*Shift Option 2:
Monday – Thursday: 8:30am – 5:00pm
Friday: 8:30am – 4:00pm
Key Responsibilities
*Operating a Counterbalance forklift safely and efficiently
*Loading and unloading goods from vehicles
*Moving stock within the warehouse and storage areas
*Assisting with general warehouse duties as required
*Maintaining a clean and organised work environment
*Carrying out daily vehicle checks and reporting any issues
Requirements
*Proven experience operating a forklift in a warehouse or logistics environment
*Good understanding of health & safety regulations
*Ability to work independently and as part of a team
*Strong reliability and punctuality
