*Location: Head Office & Field-Based (UK Travel Required)
*Salary: £30,500 – £32,000 per annum

PDAS is seeking a motivated and reliable Warehouse Operative / Driver to join our growing team. This varied dual-role position supports both our warehouse operations and installation teams, ensuring the smooth delivery and handling of materials required for sewage and surface water pumping systems. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys a hands-on role, working both on-site and on the road, with opportunities for development and training.
Day-to-day of the role:
*Carry out safe and timely deliveries to customer sites across the UK, obtaining proof of delivery, including signed documentation and photographs, and uploading to SimPRO.
*Support day-to-day warehouse operations, including goods-in, stock control, and kitting.
*Load, unload, and organise materials using appropriate equipment.
*Operate a forklift truck safely (training provided where required).
*Maintain accurate stock levels using company systems.
*Ensure the warehouse is clean, organised, and operating efficiently.
*Maintain company vehicle to a high standard (oil, water, cleanliness, etc.).
*Act as a key holder, securing and opening the premises when required.
*Work closely with colleagues to meet deadlines and customer requirements.
*Assist with stock takes and general warehouse duties.
*Uphold company standards in Health & Safety and quality compliance.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
*Highly motivated and able to work independently.
*Reliable and able to meet deadlines under pressure.
*Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.
*Safety conscious at all times.
*Comfortable with manual handling and warehouse tasks.
*IT literate and able to use stock management systems.
*A strong communicator and team player.
*Flexible and willing to travel, including overnight stays when required.
*Full, clean UK driving licence (essential).
*Previous warehouse or driving experience preferred.
*Forklift experience beneficial (training available if needed).
Benefits:
*Working Hours: Monday to Thursday: 8:30am – 5:00pm, Friday: 8:30am – 4:00pm with a 30-minute lunch break.
*Overtime: Paid at time and a half, Double time on Sundays, Overtime and travel paid door-to-door.
*Holiday: 25 days annual leave + bank holidays (calculated in hours).
*Additional Benefits: Company uniform provided, Ongoing training and development, 3-month probationary period.
