Academics is working in partnership with a number of welcoming and inclusive mainstream primary schools in Slough, offering a fantastic opportunity for graduates to step into the world of education as Graduate Classroom Assistants.
This is the perfect launchpad for aspiring teachers who are looking to build essential classroom skills, gain real-world experience, and make a meaningful impact in young learners’ lives.
The Role:
As a Graduate Classroom Assistant, you’ll be supporting class teachers in delivering engaging lessons across the primary curriculum. You’ll work with children in either Foundation Stage, Key Stage 1, or Key Stage 2, helping to create a positive, supportive, and stimulating learning environment. Every day is different - from assisting in literacy and numeracy lessons to supporting creative subjects like art, PE, and music.
This exciting opportunity is based in Slough and is ideal for graduates who are:
*Considering a future in teacher training or education
*Looking for practical, paid experience in primary education
*Motivated, patient, and enthusiastic about working with children
What We’re Looking For:
*A recent graduate (any discipline welcome)
*Excellent communication skills and a team-player mindset
*A genuine interest in supporting children’s development
*Experience working with children (formal or informal) is desirable but not essential - mentoring, tutoring, childcare, coaching, etc. all count!

*Hours: 8:30am - 3:30pm, Full-Time (Term-Time Only)
