ASD TA Opportunity - DidcotA caring and inclusive school in Didcot is seeking a dedicated ASD TA to join its supportive team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about helping pupils with autism develop confidence, achieve their potential, and enjoy a positive educational experience.
The school is looking for an enthusiastic ASD TA who can provide tailored support and build strong, positive relationships with pupils, helping them thrive both inside and outside the classroom.
The RoleAs an ASD TA, you will work closely with pupils with Autism Spectrum Disorder, supporting their academic progress, social development, and emotional wellbeing. You will collaborate with teachers, support staff, and the SENCO to ensure pupils receive the individual support they need throughout the school day.

Key Responsibilities*Provide one-to-one and small group support for pupils with autism
*Assist in delivering personalised learning and behaviour plans
*Work closely with teachers and the SENCO to support pupil development
*Encourage independence, confidence, and positive engagement
*Promote emotional wellbeing and positive social interactions
*Help create an inclusive and supportive learning environment
About YouThe ideal ASD TA will be patient, empathetic, and committed to supporting children with additional needs.
You will have:
*Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
*A positive and proactive attitude
*The ability to build strong relationships with pupils and colleagues
*A genuine interest in SEND and inclusive education
*Previous experience supporting children with autism (desirable but not essential)
