About the RoleAs an ASD TA, you will work closely with pupils with Autism Spectrum Disorder, providing tailored support that enables them to access learning, develop confidence, and thrive within the classroom environment. You will collaborate with teachers, support staff, and the SENCO to deliver effective and personalised support strategies.

Key Responsibilities*Deliver individualised support to pupils with autism in the classroom
*Assist in implementing education, behaviour, and support plans
*Work alongside teaching staff and the SENCO to monitor progress
*Encourage independence, communication, and positive social interactions
*Support pupils’ emotional wellbeing and engagement with learning
*Contribute to a nurturing and inclusive school environment
About YouThe ideal ASD TA will be patient, compassionate, and committed to supporting children with additional needs.
You will have:
*Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
*A positive and proactive attitude
*The ability to build strong relationships with pupils
*A genuine interest in SEND and inclusive education
*Previous experience supporting children with autism (desirable but not essential)
