We are looking for a practical, organised and flexible Quality Control Analyst to join our client’s team.
This is a varied, hands-on role supporting quality across laboratory and production operations. You will need to be a good multitasker, able to move easily between different activities while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities
*Inspect incoming packaging components, pre-packed samples and customer orders before despatch.
*Test raw materials, production samples and finished products.
*Carry out testing relating to customer complaints and support investigations where required.
*Perform start-up, in-process and end-of-line quality checks.
*Operate, clean, maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment in line with procedures.
*Accurately record and report test results, escalating any failures or concerns to the Quality Control Manager.
*Maintain laboratory records, retained samples, quarantine areas, chemicals and reagents.
*Check records and calculations in line with GLP/GDP requirements.
*Follow company health and safety procedures, including the correct use of PPE.
*Support colleagues and deputise for other QC team members when required.
*Contribute ideas for improvements to safety, procedures, training and testing.

About You
We are looking for someone who:
*Has A-level Science or equivalent, preferably Chemistry.
*Understands GLP, GDP and GMP and good laboratory practice.
*Has good attention to detail and takes pride in accurate work.
*Can confidently manage multiple tasks and changing priorities.
*Has good verbal, written and computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
*Understands the importance of health and safety.
*Is reliable, proactive and works well as part of a team.
