Location: Preston
We are seeking to appoint a passionate and dedicated English Teacher to join our successful and supportive English department from September 2026. This is a full-time position suitable for both experienced teachers and ambitious ECTs.
The successful candidate will be able to deliver engaging and inspiring English lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, fostering a love of literature and language while ensuring strong academic progress for all students. Experience of teaching at Key Stage 5 is desirable, although not essential.
The successful candidate will:
*Be a qualified teacher with QTS
*Have experience teaching English across KS3 and KS4
*Demonstrate strong subject knowledge and excellent classroom practice
*Be committed to raising achievement and promoting high expectations
*Have the ability to motivate and inspire students of all abilities
*Contribute positively to the wider life of the school

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
