The Role:As a Teaching Assistant, you will provide essential classroom support to ensure that all students have the best opportunity to succeed. Your responsibilities will include:
Supporting teachers in delivering engaging and effective lessons
Working with small groups and individual students to provide targeted support
Assisting with behaviour management and promoting a positive learning environment
Helping students with special educational needs (SEN) to access the curriculum
Providing general administrative and classroom support as required
Who We’re Looking For:This role is only open to candidates with prior experience working in schools or the education sector. The ideal candidate will have:
Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant in a school setting
A good understanding of the secondary curriculum and learning strategies
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
The ability to build positive relationships with students and staff
A calm, patient, and proactive approach to supporting students
