Full-Time | September Start | Teaching Personnel
Are you an inspiring SEN Teacher looking for a rewarding role in a supportive and well-resourced environment? Teaching Personnel are seeking a dedicated Secondary SEN Teacher to join a specialist provision in Bolton, supporting pupils aged 11–19 with a range of additional needs.
About the Role
You will be teaching and supporting students with:
*Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC)
*Moderate to Severe Learning Difficulties (MLD/SLD)
*Communication and interaction needs
*Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) challenges
The school offers a structured, inclusive and nurturing environment, with a strong emphasis on personalised learning, life skills, and emotional well-being. Small class sizes and high staff-to-pupil ratios allow for meaningful engagement and tailored support.
Key Responsibilities
*Plan and deliver differentiated, engaging lessons to meet individual needs
*Support pupils to achieve academic, social and emotional progress
*Implement EHCP targets and personalised learning strategies
*Use positive behaviour management techniques
*Work collaboratively with support staff, therapists and families
*Monitor and assess student progress effectively
Requirements
*Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
*Experience teaching SEN students at secondary level
*Strong understanding of ASC, SEMH and complex needs
*A patient, adaptable and resilient approach
*Passion for inclusive education and student development
