Academics is currently recruiting passionate and reliable Primary Supply Teachers to work across a variety of welcoming and supportive primary schools in Brighton & Hove.
Whether you are an experienced Primary Teacher seeking greater flexibility, an Early Career Teacher (ECT) looking to gain valuable classroom experience, or a teacher returning to the profession, daily supply teaching offers the perfect opportunity to enjoy teaching without the additional workload of planning and assessment.
As a Daily Supply Teacher, you will deliver pre-prepared lessons, maintain positive classroom environments, and ensure pupils continue to make progress during staff absences.
Key Responsibilities:
*Deliver engaging lessons across EYFS, Key Stage 1, and Key Stage 2.
*Follow school policies and procedures effectively.
*Manage classroom behaviour and create a positive learning environment.
*Adapt quickly to different school settings and year groups.
*Ensure continuity of learning and pupil engagement throughout the school day.
*Provide clear feedback to school staff following your assignment.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
*Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
*Experience teaching within a UK primary school setting.
*Strong classroom management and organisational skills.
*A flexible, professional, and positive approach.
