The Opportunity
We are seeking an exceptional Head Chef to lead the kitchen of a busy, high-end establishment known for its outstanding fresh food offering and classic dishes.
This is a pivotal role within the business, requiring a strong culinary leader who can maintain and elevate our reputation for quality, consistency, and excellence. With our long-standing Head Chef moving on from the industry, we are looking to make a key strategic appointment.
About the Role
As Head Chef, you will:
*Lead, inspire, and develop a high-performing kitchen team
*Deliver consistently high standards across a high-volume, fresh food operation
*Maintain and evolve a menu rooted in classic, quality-driven cuisine
*Oversee all kitchen operations including ordering, stock control, GP management, and compliance
*Ensure exceptional food hygiene, health & safety, and kitchen standards
*Work closely with senior management to drive the business forward
About You
We are looking for a chef who:
*Has a minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Head Chef in a busy, quality-led environment
*Has strong experience in high-volume fresh food kitchens
*Is ideally classically trained with a solid foundation in traditional cooking techniques
*Demonstrates excellent leadership, organisation, and communication skills
*Is passionate about food, quality, and delivering memorable dining experiences
*Thrives under pressure and leads from the front
