Full job descriptionTemporary Event Staff Required – University of Exeter (Penryn Campus)
We are currently recruiting temporary staff to support a rig and de-rig operation at the University of Exeter, Penryn Campus. Ideally, we are looking for you to be available for both shifts.
Job Details:
*Location: Exchange Courtyard, Rooms 5/6/7, University of Exeter Penryn Campus, Penryn, TR10 9FE
*Rig Date: 23rd July 2026, 12:00 – 15:00
*De-rig Date: 25th July 2026, 17:00 – 20:00
*Pay Rate: £13 per hour
Duties:
*Loading and unloading gowns and equipment from an 18-tonne truck
*Handling items on rails and in plastic boxes
*Assisting with setup and breakdown of event materials
Requirements:
*Physically fit and able to carry out manual handling duties
*Previous moving and handling experience preferred
*Able to work both dates (preferred)
*Safety-conscious and reliable
Dress Code:
*Jeans or suitable shorts
*Plain black or white t-shirt
*Steel toe cap boots preferred
*High-visibility vests will be provided
