Due to continued growth and increasing demand from our clients, we are looking for an ISO Management Systems Auditor to join our expanding consultancy team. You will work with a wide range of clients across the UK (primarily in the South), building trusted relationships and helping organisations improve their management systems through effective auditing and continual improvement.
*Quality Management Systems (ISO 9001)
*Environmental Management Systems (ISO 14001)
*Health & Safety Management Systems (ISO 45001)
*Information Security Management Systems (ISO 27001)
You do not need experience in every ISO standard:
If you have worked with, implemented, maintained, or audited ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, or ISO 27001, we would love to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities:
*Plan, conduct, and report internal audits at client sites and remotely against relevant ISO standards and client management systems
*Assess compliance with management system requirements, identifying non-conformities, risks, and opportunities for improvement
*Produce clear, accurate, and professional audit reports
*Verify the effectiveness of corrective actions and continual improvement activities
*Build positive client relationships and act as a trusted representative of Functio
*Communicate audit findings confidently and professionally to employees and management at all levels
*Support clients in understanding audit findings and management system requirements
*Maintain accurate audit records and documentation
*Keep up to date with relevant ISO standards, legislation, and industry best practice
*Visit clients primarily across the South of England, with occasional travel elsewhere in the UK as required. Typically, you will spend one to two days per week on client sites, with the remainder of your time split between home working, remote audits, and office-based collaboration
Skills & Experience Essential:
*Experience of working with, implementing, maintaining, or supporting at least one ISO management system standard
*Excellent communication and people skills, with the ability to engage confidently with people at all levels of an organisation
*Strong attention to detail, organisational and problem-solving skills
*Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively
*Professional, customer-focused and committed to delivering high-quality work
*Adaptable, eager to learn and able to build strong client relationships
*Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to client sites
Desirable:
*Internal Auditor or Lead Auditor qualification in one or more ISO standards
*Previous auditing experience
*Experience working within an ISO consultancy, certification body, or compliance-focused environment
*Understanding of risk management and continual improvement methodologies
