Full job descriptionQuality Manager – Basingstoke (Hybrid role with International Travel)
We’re looking for an experienced Central Quality Manager to drive and embed a "Built-in Quality" strategy across multiple manufacturing sites. Reporting to the Head of Central Quality, you’ll play a key role in ensuring consistent quality standards, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement across the business.
Key Responsibilities:
*Lead on major quality escalations and support site teams in resolving complex issues
*Drive complaint management, ensuring timely closure and root cause analysis
*Standardise and monitor quality KPIs, audits, and reporting across sites
*Coordinate cross-site problem solving and maintain defect catalogues
*Support ISO9001 compliance and supplier quality assurance processes
*Deliver training and coaching to build site-level quality capability
*Partner with stakeholders, customers, and suppliers to improve performance
What we’re looking for:
*Degree (or equivalent) in a technical or quality discipline
*Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
*Experience in quality systems, audits, and continuous improvement
*Ability to analyse data and translate technical findings into clear insights
*Proven capability in problem solving and influencing across teams
*Willingness to travel nationally and internationally
*Experience in a Manufacturing business (Automotive or Aerospace would be ideal)
