Hours: Full-Time, Monday-Friday (Term Time Only)
Location: Mitcham, London Borough of Merton
Contract: Term Time Only
Sanza are seeking a motivated, supportive and dedicated KS2 Teaching Assistant to join a friendly primary school team in Mitcham.
This is a vital role within the school, helping pupils in Years 3-6 to reach their potential - supporting their learning, building their confidence and contributing to a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
The successful candidate will:
*Support pupils’ learning across the KS2 curriculum under the direction of the class teacher.
*Work with individuals and small groups, including targeted interventions for pupils with SEND or additional needs.
*Assist with the preparation of resources and classroom displays.
*Help monitor and record pupil progress and contribute to assessments.
*Promote positive behaviour and support pupils’ social and emotional wellbeing.
*Liaise with teachers, the SENCO and other staff to ensure pupils receive appropriate support.
*Uphold the school’s safeguarding policies and maintain a safe learning environment.
The school are looking for someone who:
*Has experience of working with primary-age children, ideally at KS2 level.
*Is patient, adaptable and able to build positive relationships with pupils.
*Holds or is working towards a relevant teaching assistant or education qualification.
*Has good literacy and numeracy skills to support curriculum delivery.
*Is committed to inclusion, safeguarding and raising outcomes for all pupils.
