Hours: Full-Time, Monday-Friday (Term Time Only)
Location: Mitcham, London Borough of Merton
Contract: Term Time Only
Sanza are seeking a warm, nurturing and enthusiastic EYFS Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school team in Mitcham.
This is a rewarding role at the heart of the school’s early years provision, supporting young children to thrive during their first steps in education - helping them to develop confidence, independence and a love of learning.
The successful candidate will:
*Support children’s learning and development across the 7 areas of the EYFS curriculum.
*Assist with play-based activities, both indoors and outdoors.
*Observe and contribute to assessments and Learning Journey records.
*Support children with personal care, including toileting and feeding where required.
*Work with individuals and small groups, including children with SEND.
*Help maintain a stimulating, safe and inclusive learning environment.
*Contribute to the school’s safeguarding procedures and promote pupil wellbeing.
The school are looking for someone who:
*Is caring, patient and passionate about early years education.
*Has experience of working with young children, ideally in an EYFS setting.
*Holds or is working towards a relevant childcare or education qualification.
*Has a good understanding of child development and the EYFS framework.
*Is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
