Full job descriptionFLT Reach & Counterbalance Driver - Irlam
£14.00 per hour for the first 12 weeks, rising to £15.00 per hour Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm (37.5 hours per week)
My client, a well-established distribution company based in Irlam, is seeking a high-calibre FLT Reach & Counterbalance Driver to join their warehouse team. This is a long-term opportunity with a pay increase after 12 weeks.
Role Overview
*10-20% FLT work (Reach & Counterbalance)
*80-90% warehouse duties including order picking, packing, loading and unloading
*Heavy lifting involved
*Meet & greet assessment on Day 1
*30-minute unpaid lunch break each day
Key Responsibilities
*FLT operation - safe and efficient use of Reach & Counterbalance trucks
*Order picking and packing
*General warehouse duties including goods in/out
*Manual handling and heavy lifting
*Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
Requirements
*Valid FLT Reach and Counterbalance licences
*Previous warehouse experience
*Ability to lift heavy items safely
*Reliable, hardworking, and able to meet performance expectations
