Hours: Full Time, Monday–Friday (Term Time Only)
Are you passionate about supporting children and young people with additional needs? We are currently recruiting a dedicated SEN Education Support Assistant to join a welcoming and supportive school in Trowbridge (BA14) this September.
About the RoleAs an SEN Education Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting pupils with special educational needs, helping them to access learning and reach their full potential.
Your responsibilities will include:
*Supporting the class teacher with teaching assistant duties
*Providing 1:1 and small group support
*Assisting with behaviour management strategies
*Delivering sensory support and interventions
*Supporting pupils with a range of needs, including communication and social development
*Providing personal care, where required
RequirementsTo be successful in this role, you will need:
*A full UK driving licence (essential)

*An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)

*Experience working with children or young people in either a formal or informal setting, such as:
*Schools or education settings
*Support/care work
*Youth work
*Church or community groups
*After-school or holiday clubs
*Summer camps or similar environments

*A patient, resilient, and nurturing attitude

*A genuine passion for supporting young people with additional needs

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
