Full job descriptionKey Responsibilities*Supervise all pool sessions in line with health and safety regulations
*Ensure the safety and wellbeing of pupils at all times
*Support SEN pupils sensitively during swimming activities
*Carry out pool checks and maintain a safe environment
*Respond quickly and effectively in emergency situations
*Work closely with teaching and therapy staff
*Maintain accurate safety and incident records
Requirements*Valid lifeguard qualification (e.g. RLSS National Pool Lifeguard Qualification or equivalent)
*Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
*Experience working with children or young people (SEN experience desirable)
*Strong communication and teamwork skills
*Calm, responsible, and attentive approach
Desirable*First Aid at Work qualification
*Experience in educational or therapeutic swimming settings
*Understanding of SEN needs and support strategies
