Prospero Teaching is currently recruiting for a dedicated and experienced SEN Teacher to work within a primary school resource base in Handsworth, Birmingham supporting pupils with additional needs.
The Role
This is a full-time teaching role within a well-established primary resource base. You will be working with pupils who are working at a lower developmental level, delivering tailored learning to meet individual needs.
Key Responsibilities
*Planning and delivering engaging, differentiated lessons
*Supporting pupils with ASD leading the class, in small groups and on a 1:1 basis
*Working closely with support staff, SENCOs, and external professionals
*Creating a structured, nurturing learning environment
*Monitoring progress and adapting teaching strategies accordingly
The Ideal Candidate
*Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
*Experience working with pupils with ASD and additional needs
*Primary or SEN teaching background preferred
*Patient, adaptable, and committed to inclusive education
*Able to start September 2026 and commit until at least the summer term
