Our client, a global leader in Entertainment payroll and workforce management, are looking to recruit an energetic, driven Business Development Manager to join their small (but growing!) UK operation, developing new business in addition to managing relationships with some of the major UK Movie Production Houses. Working on a very autonomous basis (once every 2 weeks in the London office (more if desired) with the remainder working from home/meeting with clients/attending industry networking events), and with the ability to progress over time, this is an incredible opportunity for the right candidate.

Our client offer a range of Payroll/Financial solutions that support both major Hollywood film and independent TV production companies,, and have played a major part in realising major productions (including the likes of Mission Impossible, Star Wars, The Avengers and The Crown). Due to their consistent growth, they are now seeking the perfect candidate to oversee their UK Business Development operation, in addition to owning senior client relationships. In a nutshell, your responsibilities will include:

- Building and managing a new business pipeline across UK production companies, studios, and international productions filming in the UK
- Presenting the company’s full product suite (Payroll / Accounting / Tax Incentives), and leading opportunities from qualification through to close
- Leading commercial negotiations, overcoming objections and coordinating demos with internal stakeholders
- Driving outbound activity through calls, emails, social outreach, and UK industry events
- Owning relationships for assigned enterprise accounts, leading account reviews and driving renewals and upsells
- Acting as first point of contact for all UK client and prospect enquiries (including studio contacts, independents and freelancers) across new business, including managing the UK sales inbox
- Resolving day-to-day client operational queries, coordinating with internal teams as required
- Managing end-to-end production setup for UK clients
- Reviewing and distributing client legal contracts and service agreements to appropriate internal teams to ensure accuracy of services to be delivered

In order to be considered for this position, it is ESSENTIAL that you have the following:

- Minimum five years of relevant experience in a client-facing sales, account management, or business development role (with exposure to winning new business)
- Demonstrable experience in B2B sales with a track record of converting leads into closed business
- Strong organisational and project management capability - able to manage a high volume of concurrent tasks, accounts, and setups without loss of quality
- Comfort in operating end-to-end across sales, onboarding, account management, and operational delivery in a lean team environment
- High aptitude for problem-solving and ability to navigate complex, multi-stakeholder client situations with tact and commercial awareness
- Ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively under sustained pressure
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook (Salesforce and Jira experience not essential but absolutely an advantage!)
- Comfort/confidence in presenting to clients in person and via video call
- Interest in Film & TV
- Fun, sociable personality!

In addition to a very competitive £70,000 - £85,000 salary, our client are also offering the following:

- New bonus structure (currently in the process of being built)
- Flexible working arrangements - in the London HQ once every 2 weeks (on average)
- Fantastic working hours - Monday - Friday: 9.00am - 6.00pm
- 25 days annual leave (+ Bank Holidays) - rising to 30 with service
