The Opportunity
An established, independent wealth management firm is seeking a Corporate Financial Planner to join its growing corporate team.
This role offers the opportunity to work with a broad portfolio of corporate clients, advising on workplace pensions, employee benefits, and wider business financial planning strategies. You’ll inherit and develop relationships while playing a key role in delivering high-quality, compliant advice.
The Role
You will provide corporate financial planning advice to businesses and their stakeholders, helping clients meet regulatory requirements while strengthening employee value propositions and long-term business planning.
Key Responsibilities
*Deliver high-quality, compliant financial planning advice to corporate clients
*Build and maintain long-term relationships with business owners and senior stakeholders
*Advise on workplace pensions, employee benefits, and corporate planning strategies
*Support clients with regulatory compliance and governance requirements
*Prepare and present clear, tailored financial plans and recommendations
*Conduct regular client reviews and adapt strategies to evolving business needs
*Identify opportunities to develop new business through existing and external networks
*Collaborate with accountants, lawyers, and professional introducers
*Maintain accurate records in line with FCA and regulatory requirements
*Promote the brand and contribute to overall business growth
What We’re Looking For
Essential:
*Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning (minimum requirement)
*Proven experience advising corporate or commercial clients
*Strong knowledge of pensions, employee benefits, and corporate financial planning
*Ability to interpret business financials and apply planning strategies
*Experience preparing and presenting client recommendations
*Strong communication and relationship management skills
Desirable:
*Progression towards Chartered status
*Understanding of business succession, profit extraction, and exit planning

*Ability to simplify complex financial concepts
*High attention to detail and regulatory awareness
