Full job description SEN Teaching Assistant
Reed Education are currently recruiting for an SEN Teaching Assistant to join a specialist SEN school in Ellesmere Port from September on a full-time, long-term basis.

This is a well-established SEMH specialist school supporting secondary aged pupils with social, emotional and mental health needs.

The Role
You will be working with pupils in Years 7-11, supporting a range of additional needs, particularly SEMH.
Your responsibilities will include:
*Providing 1:1 and small group support
*Supporting behaviour and emotional regulation
*Assisting with tailored learning activities
*Building strong, positive relationships with pupils
*Working closely with teachers and pastoral teams


What We’re Looking For
*Previous experience working with children or young people (essential)
*Experience in an SEMH setting is highly desirable, but not essential
*A calm, resilient and patient approach
*Strong behaviour management skills
*A genuine passion for supporting young people with additional needs
