About the RoleWe are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching Assistants to support primary schools across the Wirral. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a meaningful impact on young learners’ development while gaining valuable experience in a supportive educational environment.
You will work alongside class teachers to help create a positive, engaging, and inclusive learning atmosphere, supporting children both in groups and on a one-to-one basis.
Key Responsibilities*Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons
*Provide 1:1 or small group support to pupils
*Support children with additional learning needs (SEN experience desirable)
*Help maintain a safe and positive classroom environment
*Prepare classroom materials and resources
*Encourage pupil participation and confidence
What We’re Looking For*A passion for working with children in a primary setting
*Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant or with children (preferred but not essential)
*A positive, patient, and proactive attitude
*Strong communication and teamwork skills
*Relevant qualifications (e.g. Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant) are advantageous
*Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
