Location: Port Clarence | 4 On / 4 Off | £27.14 Overtime | £40 Night Out

The Role
As a Class 1 Tanker Driver, you’ll be responsible for the safe, compliant and efficient transportation of hazardous chemicals in bulk tankers across the UK.
Every journey matters. You’ll be trusted to represent the business professionally while ensuring every delivery is completed safely, on time and in line with all relevant legislation.
Key Responsibilities
*Safely transport hazardous chemicals to customer sites across the UK
*Maintain full compliance with ADR and transport legislation
*Complete thorough vehicle and equipment checks
*Maintain accurate driving, delivery and compliance records
*Comply with Drivers’ Hours and Working Time regulations
*Correctly use and maintain required PPE
*Deliver excellent customer service at every site
*Communicate effectively with customers, planners and colleagues
*Follow all company Health & Safety, ISO and operational procedures
*Maintain the highest standards of professionalism and safety
What We’re Looking For
You’ll need:
*Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence
*ADR qualification – Classes 8 & 9 minimum
*Previous tanker driving experience
*Valid Driver CPC
*Valid Digital Tachograph Card
*Clean or near-clean driving licence
*Good knowledge of UK road networks and route planning
*Strong understanding of transport legislation and compliance
*A reliable, professional and safety-first attitude
Desirable Experience
*Previous experience transporting hazardous chemicals
*Experience within the chemical manufacturing or industrial sector
*Excellent customer service and communication skills
