Full job descriptionWe’re looking for a hands-on, reliable Estate Assistant to join a dedicated team maintaining welcoming, safe, and well-kept communities across Crawley.This is more than just a maintenance role - it’s about creating environments residents are proud to call home.
What you’ll be doing:
Every day will be varied and active, you’ll be:
*Maintaining grounds and gardens (lawns, shrubs, planting and upkeep)
*Keeping communal indoor areas clean, safe and presentable
*Identifying and reporting issues like repairs, fly-tipping, and graffiti
*Working closely with residents, colleagues, and contractors
*Helping ensure estates are well-maintained, safe, and welcoming
What we’re looking for:
We want someone who takes pride in their work and enjoys making a visible impact. You’ll bring:
*Experience in grounds maintenance or gardening
*Knowledge of plant care, lawn maintenance, and outdoor upkeep
*A strong work ethic and attention to detail
*A customer-focused approach and positive attitude
*Ability to work independently and as part of a team
*Understanding of Health & Safety and PPE
* A full UK driving licence (essential)
