A well-established civil engineering contractor delivering external groundworks packages across Liverpool. They operate on tight, well-structured programmes and maintain strong site support, ensuring smooth delivery across all schemes.
Your new role:
As the Site Manager, you’ll take full responsibility for a 6-week external works package starting 20th July. Works include drainage, kerbing, ducting, concrete bases, and general groundworks. Your responsibilities will include:
*Managing daily site operations and subcontractors
*Overseeing H&S compliance and site documentation
*Coordinating materials, plant, and programme
*Liaising with the client, engineers, and visiting management
*Maintaining quality and ensuring works progress to schedule

What you’ll need to succeed:


*Strong background in groundworks management
*Experience running external civils packages independently
*SMSTS, CSCS, First Aid
*Ability to drive productivity and maintain safe working practices
*Confident communicator with a proactive, hands-on approach
