We are working with a welcoming and well-established primary school in Gateshead that is seeking a dedicated Key Stage 1 Teacher to join their team from September 2026 on a full-time, long-term basis.

The Role
You will take responsibility for a Key Stage 1 class and work closely with an experienced teaching assistant and the wider KS1 team.
Key responsibilities include:
*Planning and delivering engaging lessons across the KS1 curriculum

*Creating a calm, positive and inclusive classroom environment

*Supporting pupils’ academic, social and emotional development

*Assessing progress and adapting teaching to meet individual needs

*Building strong relationships with parents, carers and colleagues

*Contributing to the wider life of the school community

Working Pattern*Start Date - September 2026
*Contract - Full-time (term time only)
*Hours - 8:30am - 3:30pm
