Full job descriptionWe are working on an Accounts Payable Clerk Position with a client within the aviation sector in Farnborough. This role focuses on ensuring accurate and efficient processing of supplier invoices and payments while supporting the wider accounting & finance team.

Description
*Process supplier invoices accurately and in a timely manner.
*Reconcile supplier statements to ensure accounts are up to date.
*Handle payment runs and ensure compliance with company procedures.
*Resolve supplier queries and discrepancies efficiently.
*Assist with month-end closing tasks related to accounts payable.
*Maintain organised records of invoices and financial documents.
*Collaborate with internal departments to ensure smooth financial operations.
*Support the accounting & finance team with ad hoc administrative tasks.
Profile
A successful Accounts Payable Clerk should have:
*Previous experience in an accounts payable or similar role.
*Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial data entry.
*Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
*Effective communication skills for liaising with suppliers and colleagues.
*A proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
