Full job descriptionOur client is expanding their engineering team and is seeking a practical, hands-on Manufacturing Engineer to support production and help optimise CNC machining processes across a busy aerospace manufacturing environment.

You’ll take ownership of your own products, leading New Product Introduction (NPI), developing manufacturing processes, providing hands-on support for CNC machining operations, creating engineering documentation, and driving continuous improvement across a variety of precision-manufactured aerospace components.

Manufacturing Engineer
Job Description
*Manage your own products from New Product Introduction (NPI) through to production
*Provide hands on support and work to improve manufacturing processes for machined components
*Create and maintain manufacturing routings, Bills of Materials (BOMs), SOPs and documentation
*Produce FAIR documentation and support PPAP/NPI activities
*Develop PFMEAs, Control Plans and Process Flow documentation
*Lead root cause investigations using 5 Why, 8D and other structured problem-solving techniques
*Identify opportunities to improve engineering efficiency through automation and AI technologies

*Strong communication skills with the ability to work independently
*Experience with CNC Machinery
