We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join a supportive and inclusive school in Huddersfield. Key Responsibilities
Provide tailored support to pupils with a range of SEN, including Autism, ADHD, and Speech & Language difficulties.
Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging and accessible lessons.
Implement individual education plans (IEPs) and monitor progress.
Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
Support pupils with personal care needs where required.
Requirements
Previous experience working with children with SEN (school or care setting).
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to remain calm and patient under pressure.
A genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs.
Desirable: Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent.
