About the RoleWe are currently seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Early Years Teaching Assistants to support a range of welcoming primary schools across the Hyde area. These roles offer flexibility, with opportunities for day-to-day supply, short-term placements, and long-term positions.
Many of our temporary roles regularly progress into long-term placements, providing consistency and the chance to build strong relationships within schools.
Key Responsibilities*Support the class teacher in delivering engaging Early Years lessons
*Assist with phonics, numeracy, and creative learning activities
*Provide 1:1 or small group support where required
*Help create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating learning environment
*Support children’s social, emotional, and developmental needs
*Prepare classroom materials and assist with general classroom duties
Requirements*Experience working within Early Years (Nursery or Reception) is desirable
*A passion for supporting young children’s learning and development
*Strong communication and teamwork skills
*Adaptable, reliable, and proactive approach
*Relevant qualifications (e.g., Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant or equivalent) are advantageous but not essential
