Job Description:
Full job descriptionA global real estate firm are looking for a Financial Reporting Accountant to join their high-performing finance team. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a complex, multi-entity organisation and play a key role in delivering accurate, timely, and high-quality financial reporting.
As a Financial Reporting Accountant, you will support the integrity of financial reporting across a large and diverse group of entities. Working closely with senior finance stakeholders, you will contribute to month-end close, statutory reporting, and continuous improvement of finance processes.
This is a hands-on role with exposure to multiple areas of finance, offering excellent breadth and development opportunities within a dynamic, international environment.
What you’ll be doing:
*Support the preparation of monthly management accounts and reporting packs
*Ensure balance sheet accuracy, including reviews of key estimates and judgments
*Take ownership of intercompany accounting, including reconciliations and resolution of discrepancies
*Maintain and monitor fixed assets and capital expenditure accounting
*Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring completeness and accuracy
*Assist in the preparation of statutory financial statements under relevant accounting standards
*Support the year-end audit process, including managing auditor queries and documentation
*Contribute to VAT reporting and compliance activities
*Identify and implement opportunities for process improvements and better controls
What we are looking for:
*Qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent) with post qualified experience
*Experience in financial reporting or financial control within a complex organisation
*Strong understanding of UK GAAP / IFRS and statutory reporting requirements
*Experience working in a complex multi-entity LLP environment is ideal
*Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines
*Confident communicator with strong stakeholder management skills
*Proactive, adaptable, and solutions-focused mindset
*Proficient with Excel or ERP systems (i.e. SAP)
